Description

This badge is awarded to professionals who have successfully completed the immersive, 4-hour UnDesto AI Literacy Workshop. This hands-on program moves beyond foundational concepts into active, practical execution, equipping participants with the framework and skills necessary to safely evaluate, implement, and leverage artificial intelligence. Earners have demonstrated the ability to critically analyze AI tools, manage security risks, and directly optimize their day-to-day corporate workflows for measurable productivity gains.

Earning Criteria

To earn this credential, the recipient must actively participate in the 4-hour interactive workshop and successfully demonstrate competency in the following core areas: 1. Architectural & Capability Mapping: Distinguish between traditional AI and generative AI systems, accurately mapping the specific capabilities, boundaries, and business use cases for each. 2. Corporate AI Security & Risk Management: Identify critical safety risks, data privacy constraints, and governance protocols required to interact with AI tools safely within an enterprise environment. 3. Advanced Prompt Engineering: Design, test, and iterate complex prompt structures using precise context, constraints, and operational variables to secure accurate, high-value professional outputs. 4. Tool Evaluation Frameworks: Apply rigorous criteria to evaluate, benchmark, and select external AI tools and software for specific business operations. 5. Workflow Optimization & Strategy: Apply the A.S.K. framework to critically analyze individual daily workflows, successfully identifying and structuring practical tasks to automate, share, or keep.

Narrative

Earners of the UnDesto AI Literacy badge have demonstrated the ability to explain core AI and generative AI concepts in plain language, including how today’s narrow AI systems work, where they are useful, and what their limitations are. They can apply secure and responsible AI practices, distinguish between personal and enterprise AI tools, and identify when data privacy, security, and compliance risks require human oversight or escalation. Earners are able to design and refine effective prompts using the R.I.C.E. framework and patterns such as chain-of-thought, prompt chaining, EmotionPrompt, interaction prompts, and fair-thinking prompts to obtain clearer, more relevant AI outputs. They can map their own workflows, identify high-impact AI use cases, and use structured frameworks like A.S.K. and S.I.F.T. to decide where AI should automate, assist, or be avoided in alignment with organizational strategy, governance, and security expectations.
